In honor of No-Shave November, We Mustache You to Read Our Books
When a student sketched out “I mustache you to read this” for me, I laughed then asked if I could use the phrase for a display. She heartily agreed. Let me tell you, it was fun seeking out bearded authors and gluing fake staches on others.
Cinderella was this year’s school play. When one of the directors asked to hang a promo poster in the library, I said yes and offered to create a book display underneath it. I didn’t get a photo before the poster came down. Here’s one of the books.
I love Mo Willems as do my elementary school kids. His books are funny and easily used with K through 6th, depending on your kids and your enthusiasm while reading aloud. I’m curious to see who wins. My vote’s on Piggie and Gerald.
